Climate Compatibility Growth programme at Loughborough University

Enabling sustainable growth in the Global South.

I worked with the CCG programme team on messaging and helped them develop a communications and marketing strategy.

The challenge.

The CCG programme is an initiative funded by the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office that helps countries in the Global South to promote investment in sustainable energy and transport. Its goal is to empower developing countries to grow low-carbon solutions and develop open-source tools that can be scaled for use in other countries. I helped the CCG programme team with strategy and messaging, including updating their website, and I made recruitment recommendations to maximise the team’s efficiency and reach.

The impact.

The CCG programme brings together leading research organisations from the UK and partners them with local researchers, government, and other institutions in the Global South to identify low-carbon development opportunities. Thanks to these partnerships, developing countries are better able to counteract climate change and meet the UN’s sustainable development goals.

“Manpreet was commissioned by (Climate Compatible Growth)
CCG to put together a marketing and communications strategy.
In a short timeframe she put together a professional and informative document which will be used to advance our communications. Manpreet provided an excellent service, engaging with our key stakeholders in a flexible way to capture the key messages of the programme.”
