Pharmacy Technicians of Colour
Value-driven rebranding to raise awareness.
I helped PToC with a brand refresh and redefine their mission statement.
The challenge.
Pharmacy Technicians of Colour (PToC) was founded and established in 2020, in response to individual pharmacy technicians' concerns about discrimination and lack of representation within the profession. It coincided with Covid-19 and the Black Lives Matter movement. The PToC logo was being recognised on a national platform and we feel this needs a refresh as it wanted to reflect the people it presented in their logo.
I worked with a designer on the visual rebrand, and I also helped the PTOC team redefine their values and their mission.
The impact.
As a result of the rebrand, the group now stand out within the NHS to amplify the voices of Pharmacy Technicians of Colour and bring awareness to the unique challenges they face.
The group holds a number of well-attended events to educate, inform and support attendees and others within the pharmacy profession and now has a unique identity to help celebrate achievements, raise awareness of inequalities and amplify the voices of our group members.
